2. Hot stamping process. The hot stamping operation uses a stamping machine. The stamping work process and requirements are mainly divided into the following parts.

(1) Preparation. The preparatory work before hot stamping mainly refers to various operations such as the selection of hot materials, adhesive materials and plate materials, and the production of upper editions.

Operational requirements:

c. The thickness of the adhesive board between hot stamping and lower platform iron plate is generally 0.5mm, the thickness should be the same, and the effect of hot stamping can not be affected due to poor bonding of the paperboard. The location of the rule plate should be neat and tidy. The head and front mouth are vertical, and the thickness of the regulatory plate is less than about 0.3 mm of the thickness of the hot book shell.

2 round back waist version. When the words and patterns on the back of the waist are burned, the rule on the medium width is adopted as a rule. During operation, a piece of cardboard is cut into the same size as the middle diameter cardboard and the length of the book case is glued to the appropriate position on the platform. Operational requirements:

3 upper back waist version. Hot stamping of the back side of the handwriting and patterns, because the back of the square back cover after the jointing process is neatly exposed on the outside, so the hot stamping specifications and size ratio accuracy is more stringent than the round back , that is, the handwriting after burning must be centered, do not allow a little skew.

In order to ensure the quality of the square back stamping, the upper plate version adopts the mid-stitch lead bar as a rule. When operating, 150 g/m2 offset plate or copper plate blank paper is used to cut to the same size as the medium-diameter cardboard. The paper strips were folded vertically and center line was taken, and the adhesive back surface was wiped off with an adhesive. According to the requirements of the layout, stick to the center line of the white paper, then turn the white paper over and put it on the bottom-adhesive medium-diameter paperboard, and glue the back of the paper to make the top board slowly descend and take it well. The regular white paper, together with the hot stamp under the white paper, is heat-bonded under the soil board. After the hot stamping paste has passed through the adhesive, the two lead strips corresponding to the width of the middle slit are used. The two sides of the medium diameter cardboard are closely aligned, and the height of the lead strip is suitable for not touching the upper stamping sheet. The operating requirements of the upper back waist version are basically the same as the above two upper version requirements.

4 press hot print version. Pressing hot stamping means that there is no hot material, only hot stamping. This method is basically the same with the above, but hot stamping hot stamping, the upper version is a concave version, after the hot stamp on the pattern is protruding on the book shell, so the hot version of the layout Clean and tidy, the extra corners need to be repaired to ensure the quality of the hot surface.

The upper version of the hot stamping basically includes the above types. No matter which version is used, the upper and lower printing plates must be flush, and the unevenness should be corrected to avoid the phenomenon of inconsistent graphics and writing caused by the layout damage or hot stamping. .

5 hot sample positioning. After the hot stamping and regulation plate is in place, the temperature is adjusted to the required number, the pressure is adjusted well, and after the hot stamping, the inspection is compared with the original sample. After the standards are met, the various plates are firmly fixed and positioned for further normal hot stamping processing. .

(3) Feeding. Refers to the operation of placing various hot stamping materials on hot locations. There are two ways to feed, one is on the hot plate, the other is on the book cover, including gold, silver foil, hot material and electrified aluminum. The feeding operation is divided into manual and machine operations.

Hand-feeding is to cut the hot stamped material into a certain size according to the hot stamping area, and put it on the surface of the book shell by hand for hot stamping. Before loading, you can use cardboard to make a model with the same size as the book shell, and empty the hot place. During the operation, the adhesive or hot material is applied to or placed in a hollow position. After the material is finished, the model is sampled for hot stamping.

Some hot materials need to be placed directly on the hot stamping (sold gold). For example, the weight of each sheet of red gold foil is particularly light, and once the foil of air flow can be rolled into a mass and cannot be deposited on the plate, it is wasted. Be careful when you use this kind of iron. The red gold foil is compounded with a layer of burr paper (sometimes two sheets of paper), which can be placed on the workbench in front of the operator in front of a stack of gold foil cut (or obliquely).
